Teachers' Development Workshop June 2024
This summer's workshop really was a treat. We explored the renowned Irish writers, Wilde, Beckett, Yeats and Heaney, as well as An Gorta Mor, The Great Famine and how it affected literature. Bookings are open for next summer's workshop - see Teachers' Development Programme — UISCE

Our End of Summer Danceathon Sept 20th 8pm
Last year's Danceathon was great fun and this year we look forward to another on 20th Sept. 3 hours of jiving - or at least learning how to jive! Prizes for those brave enough to come in fancy dress! Funds raised will go towards opening the community kitchen at UISCE Campus to assist with food poverty relief and social interaction among neglected social groups.

Good work Zona!

Projects we are working on:
A High School certificate in Peacebuilding - let's raise an army of peacebuilders!
And we want to develop a corps of 20 to 30 local Peace Champions - local people who make a vocational commitment to be peacebuilders.
The campus buildings really need a fresh coat of paint - but it will cost £12,000!
Lots of events this autumn: The Danceathon in September; the cross-border marathon in October; and the Uisce Beatha / Water of Life Festival for all November
