Hamilton o'Rourke campus
Manorhamilton, County Leitrim
Hamilton O'Rourke Campus is the future jewel of the UISCE educational experience. Developed in the historic, west of Ireland village of Manorhamilton, County Leitrim, we invite groups to plan an extended stay at our campus for an in-depth, customized study abroad program. The Campus draws its name from a recognition of the heritage of the Planter, Sir Frederick Hamilton and the Gaelic clan of O'Rourke. The town carries both the names of Hamilton, in English, and O'Rourke, in Irish.
The Campus, in sight of Hamilton's Castle, will cater primarily for second and third level students, from schools, colleges and universities throughout Ireland, Europe and the United States. Its programs will focus on history, arts & culture, Irish literature, with a special focus on peace studies.
Details of programs offered by the Campus will be available soon. However, for a sample of activities and educational objectives, please view the UISCE Leaders program,.
